The people running the kids programming remembered my kids names, greeted them everywhere we went, provided age appropriate activities for each child, and made sure they included them in every activity. My kids didn’t want to leave because they were having so much fun. Can’t wait to come back!9 months agoGreat experience overall! The location is very convenient with convenient commerce around. Close to a nice stroll at night by the Sea front. Modern Shopping Mall at 15 minutes walk in case you need something. Dinner and breakfast are great! Vast selection with great quality! They even serve sodas, juices, beer and wine (red and white) included! They have a “bar” area with kids entertainment, large pool with water slides. It gets really busy with buses and tours but they manage well6 months agoWe had a great time at Leonardo Club Hotel in Tiberius, food was really good, great variety, our rooms & beds very comfy. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Central location.11 months agoWe stayed 2 nights. A group of 20 in 10 rooms. There were bus loads of people checking in but the whole process was handled in an efficient manner. Rooms are very comfortable. Was happy to discover a room on our floor to iron out the wrinkles. Could not believe when we were informed that cocktails were on the house. We enjoyed good fellowship with excellent Israeli wines, beers, and other liquors of our choice. They have huge dining rooms very efficiently managed. Dinner is served upto 9pm. Food is very good and the choice is wide. Breakfast too is very impressive. The hotel boasts of all the Jazz like a swimming pool, a Spa and other eminities. This is my first visit to Israel and I am very impressed with their quite efficiency and friendly service. This is a tired and rundown hotel – VERY UNLIKE the pictures on the website. It may be the only hotel for large tour groups, which is how we traveled here. As we walked into the hotel lobby, we were greeted by a grand & lovely space with a wine bar and live music and from there we saw a grand staircase that took us down to the thermal pool, the only highlights of this place. We expected our rooms to feel just as grand and beautiful – they are sadly the complete opposite. When we asked about changing rooms, we were told the rooms had been recently remodeled which seems to mean that cracks were filled in with caulk – there was a lot of that. Our room furnishings were old and dingy, the only chair in our room was a dining room chair. The tiny sofa was dirty and worn. Everything was dinged, worn, scratched up. Bad customer service – rude response when asking about pool hours. On checkout day, someone in our party who stayed in the penthouse (which is a PH in name only because it’s furnishings are even more worn down) was stuck with luggage on the top level for over 1/2 hour because the elevator wouldn’t go up to the top floor. They called customer service several times but nothing happened until others in our group got involved. Brunch buffet didn’t offer fruit except oranges and olives. Dinner buffet was fine. I would NOT recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to the area. There have to be other options, find them.
5/7/2023 The hotel is very nice, my room overlooks the Sea of Galilee with amazing views., our rooms were very clean and comfortable. The variety of food is wonderful, so many choices for everyone. We are a group of 53, they accommodated our every need and very responsive if we needed help. I could not understand the thermostat, called the desk to ask a question and they sent someone up to help me with in minutes of my call. . I encourage you to try all the varieties of food. The food is so wonderful.
Great room, comfortable and clean. Service is excellent. Right on the Boardwalk.
My only complaint is that housekeeping starts running at 8:30 AM, so expect to get woken up by vacuum cleaners.
I honestly don’t know how it’s hotel is so highly ranked. It’s an old, outdated hotel. Beds really uncomfortable, the room smelled like rotten eggs, they sent a person with an atomizer to cover the smell. Halls have a VERY old carpet and they smell like dust and sweat. Only good thing is the location. Tiberias doesn’t have many good options in hotels, I’d skip this one nonetheless.
