  1. Holy site. People come here from all over the world. Say a special prayer and take upon oneself a good deed for the blessing to come down.
There is a Shul on site. Tables to have lunch. And a small cafe.
Many gift shops. Great views of the Kineret lake.

  2. Very special and spiritual place of the Tanai Torah giant. Beautiful view of the Kinneret lake and an extra special place to pray for miracles in merit of the Torah sage. Complex being renovated anew.

  3. Recent renovations are very nice, great view over the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights. May the merit of Rabbi Mier open channels of blessings

  4. A different side of Israel but still must be seen and visited.
I had just visited the Hamat Tiberias National Park and since this Tomb is just a few minutes walk from there, I decided to go and visit it as well.
I had already been there in 1970 so it was kind of a must for me.

It is of course a lot like the Tomb of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai at Meron which I had visited the day before, just smaller.
And like there, combined with this special atmosphere of mysticism, there were too many shops and sellers of everything and anything (which weren’t there in 1970).
    It definitely spoiled the atmosphere.
    Pity.

  5. Holy place of Jewish. Man and women are in different pray. Free parking outside, to come in you have to pass by some shops

There are 3 attractions in this place. Firstly, the beautiful view of the Kineret Lake. Secondly, the warm water springs, all natural. You may dip in the little pools made for visitors. Thirdly, visit the ancient synagogue with its amazing mosaic. Almost 2000 years old. Wonderful place to visit. A must see when visiting Israel. The lake is mentioned numerous times in the bible.

A small cozy place to warm the bones. Pay the cost of a simple coffee and can sit from opening to closing in a small park with picnic tables and 3 pools with temperatures of 30, 35 and 40 degrees Celsius. My wife and I came here for just an hour to warm up and see another attraction during our vacation, but even so, we liked it. Here you can sit and relax without picnics and other activities… just … relax.

Not stunning but still worth your time. I had the chance to visit this site at the same time as a group so I could see the movie displayed inside. It was really interesting and made the place much more worth the time.

I’d recommend you ask the attendant at the entrance to show the movie even if you’re alone as it happened in other National parks, even when I was there completely alone. It seems this attendant was busy with something else than giving service to the visitors.

A good place to relax for the whole family. There are three thermal pools with different temperatures – 30, 35 and 40 degrees. You sit in the pool and admire the view of Kinneret. After the water procedures, you can take a shower, there are changing rooms. There are picnic tables. You can also take a blanket from home and lay it on the grass. I liked the pebble path for foot massage. Also, see what baths used to be in the small museum. Very interesting location! Try not to forget to take anything with you in advance (swimsuits, towels, slippers), because you can’t buy these on the territory of the park.
