a year agoI don’t know how many times I’ve visited Nazareth, but every time I’ve been there I’ve enjoyed coming back. So many differences that are next to each other. I met so many good people in this city that I can’t wait to come back again.4 years agoI nearly passed it several times. A beautifully crafted well. I didn’t see anyone or any information about it at the site, so I had to google it. Lots of restaurants nearby, so you can have lunch right before or after seeing it. I think maybe you’ll spend about 5 to 10 minutes then be able to move onward. Lots of food and parks nearby.4 years agoI love everything about Israel and the May’s Well is one such . Its seems strange that you are at a place where actually Mary drank water from the well .its so breadthtaking and historic and you will be amazed to see the pigeons in that pure place !5 years agoThe place where Mary was visited by the Angel who told her of the arrival of Jesus. A must visit if around, it’s a beautiful small church and a market around. The place is not too far away from the Basilica of the annunciation church. Everything is at the walkable distance.4 years agoWe went there on Christmas and it was packed with people. I didn’t really understand what it is all about. The tree was nice but nothing really except it. It’s has some restaurants and coffee shops around but really nothing special.

Beautiful and incredibly impactful, truthful and wholesome archeological and historically accurate place from Jesus first years of life before His ministry. A must see place. I left crying in awesomeness, whole heartedness about the love, passion and detail given for the life and work of the Lord Jesus.
In Israel you see a lot of national parks and places which are just the remains of what would have been there, Nazareth village provides a very authentic picture of the type of place Christ would’ve lived at the time. There are even authentic characters walking around as if they were part of the time such as shepherds, farmers, potters or carpenters. I’d recommend booking your tour by emailing the company, I thought it was worth the visit!
An excellent living history experience! All the actors are fun, knowledgeable and friendly and the tour guide we had was so good that some of our party wanted to know if he was “available next week for Sunday church service” 😂 He brought the site and the bible stories to life in a way no one else could.
Thank you Daniel for a wonderful visit. Something different. We have met Abraham and Sarah, Joseph and Saul as well as Anna. This place is an incredible time travelling machine. Highly recommended.
A truly enchanting experience in Nazareth. Amid the hustle and bustle of pilgrimages and “holy sites,” Nazareth Village provides a unique look into first century Nazareth with reconstructions, charming “actors,” knowledgeable tour guides, and actual archeological sites from 2,000 years ago. Hearing the scroll of Isaiah read from a reconstructed synagogue similar to Luke 4 was a very memorable experience. Recommended for anyone visiting Nazareth.
