4 years agoWe rent a car with 2 on 4 wheels half empty and the plastic protection below totally destroyed. We tried to reach them 1h after we took the car and they did not call back. I had to fix myself everything because we did not have other choices than to use the vehicle. When we gave back the vehicle, the employees and the director told us that it was almost our fault and that thanks god Nothing happened so we should be happy! No need to do a big story! When I began being upset because of their answers they threatened me to call the police. I sat down and said that I wait for them to show them the vehicule and suddenly the guy stopped. Everything is on camera, I don’t lie. Incredible! We were so disgusted that we just paid the amount they asked for and obvisously with no apologies nor reduction and we left. Fo sure we will not rent again in this branch.3 years agoSo this place has bad cars that work ok for extremely cheap prices. Also you can’t drive their car on Shabbat but you also dont pay for Shabbat! So if you’re staying somewhere for the weekend it’s a lot cheaper. But they are a bit disorganized, and the car lot is a 5 minute walk away, and hard to find on your first time. The regular (not commercial) vehicles they have are just the leftovers from their fleet, so they’re old, beat up, and the selection is small.a year agoI wish I could give 1 star. This place HAS VERY POOR run down cars that is not suitable for anyones safety on the road to drive plus terrible customer care service. I would never recommend them

Despite most of description and reviews being in Hebrew, the staff speaks very good English, they also have translations of documents to English. The rental was easy despite that I came there randomly from the street, with no previous reservation. The staff is very professional, and they prepare detailed protocol upon renting, so the whole thing feels very fair.
The prices are only slightly higher than the cheapest rentals found on-line but no hidden fees appeared at least in my case. I’ll certainly use their services if I’m back in Israel!
Great customer service. Both picking up the car and returning it was efficient and fast. They were polite and even offered me a less expensive car that was available, which was new and drove very well. The MobileEye in the car was also helpful. I would definitely use them again.
They don’t respect reservations made on their website, cars are dirty and damaged, stuff rude.
On March 23, 2023 I ordered a 7 people car for a rental on June 29,2023. My family was going on a cruise and I was planning a family reunion in Haifa. I felt renting the car was the easiest way to get around. When I called them to walk over and pick up the car, they first couldn’t find my confirmed reservation which I printed and then they said that it was made for March 2024. I had the correct date in June on my reservation. Then they said that my car is Natanya and they’ll get it for me in a few hours. A few hours is all I had in Haifa. I had to depend on bus shuttle and taxis and I spent over $2000 Shekels ( about 600) on transportation besides the inconvenience.
Don’t rent from them, use Sixt or Budget or Hertz but never Suncar
They didn’t have the car I booked so they offered an upgrade with the same price. The car was really good, rental process took less than 10 minutes and all went smooth. The km limit is something to complain about, but I was aware of it and still rented the car. When you exceed the 200 km daily limit you are charged 1.3 ILS every 1 km
