8 months agoOne of my favorite National Parks in Israel. It is located only a 30 minute drive from Tel Aviv and makes a great spot for a picnic. It is family friendly and has remains of a Roman villa, a fortress & Byzantine glass kilns. Have fun!9 months agoOne of the most beautiful places in Israel, a short 20 minutes drive from Tel Aviv. Easy had shaded parking, cheap entrance ticket, and accessibility impeccable. The kids loved it, it was not packed with tourists (we were there on Saturday) , and the view… Not enough words to describe it. I have lived in Israel for 14+ years and was stunned.11 months agoDefinitely a must-see attraction in the Herzliya area. Plenty of ancient history, beautiful views from the top, woven in some fun activities for the kids but enjoyable for adults too. Catapult demonstration is kind of interesting. Lots of different walking paths to spend time on different paths. Plenty of shaded spots with tables for picnics, water fountains, and restrooms as well. Entrance fee is reasonable and the sunsets are amazing. Access via foot path is not bad, walked up from the city center (Acadia beach) via the trail/community roads along the coastline.7 months agoThe landscape embraces your soul. This place is witness of History’s centuries, you are able to be transported in the Cruzader era, easily It’s unbelievable that so many battles occurred in this place in which you breathe so much peace mixed with the breeze from the sea . Nature and history are met in this place with the Mediterranean sea as the eternal witness…a year agoA short drive from Tel Aviv and you are in this magnificent place. With Crusader fortress– construction is dated to 1241, and its destruction to 1265, when the city was captured by the Mameluke Sultan Baibars. There is a very nice trail next to the sea with views. Winter and spring are best time to visit as you have a lot of green around.

A beautiful park, not too big and not too small, two cafeterias, ponds with birds, a place for dogs walking, wonderful children’s and sports grounds, a cycle path, a jogging track, a barbecue place, a children’s train on weekends, picnic tables. 4 stars for lack of shelter from the sun.
Grate place for family picnic, tables and a save place to put your picnic.
Leak with fish and docks, clean bathroom and water. The place is very clean and well maintained. Parking is available (bot not free till night).
My kids really like this place. There are many different areas: cool (and very extreme) playground, bikes hill, bikes path, lake, kids train, 3 caffe places etc. a lot of parking places but be aware you need to pay also on weekends.
Big, beautiful and well maintained park with lots of attractions. Ugh and vast loans. Kids can spend hours on here. The only downside is that you cannot do barbecue. The photos are self-explanatory
A lovely place, I go jogging there daily. It has special
paved paths and other facilities both for sportsmen and just walkers. So many activities and meetings are there in the evenings. Has drinking fountains and a restroom too.
Toda raba for this lovely park.
