Great museum worth visiting very professional tour guide
Great little museam. Gives a glimpse to the life in Rishon Lezion in its early days. Show a house and a school, a stable and a few other buildings on how we’re life in the early days. Can pass 1-1.5 hours there going from one house to the other. There are also some activities to young children at the main building basement.
Nice museum about the early history of Rishon Lezion and the culture and crafts of the time (1880-1930s). Only some of the signs are translated into English. The museum is actually based in a set of the original buildings of the early town, and within 100m of several more, so it’s worth wandering along the street after you leave. The municipality has clearly put effort into signage for the historic buildings.
There are guided tours or you can look around alone.
I was there for a wedding. Very classy and intimate! Because the size of the museum’s patio is somehow small, not many people can fit in order to be able to move.
I assume that the catering was outsourced, the food was nothing more than ok.
The downside, a big one, would be that there was hardly any music. Since the museum is located in the middle of the city, there is no music aloud later than 11pm.
Visit for an event. Nice location for small even,next to Rishon’s old synagogue, but can be hot in summer. Free parking about 10-5 minutes away.
