  1. One of the best settings in Israel, on the beach , comfortable rooms , very wide choice of fresh well prepared breakfast dishes. There is also a well equipped gym. The pool is expertly maintained and the life guards , pool manager are extremely friendly and helpful to add to the resort like relaxed atmosphere. The staff is generally very helpful and the hotel manager is visibly hands on . The room service manager Harold raises the bar and sets a new standard in politeness and efficiency. Seldom if ever have I felt such a genuine interest in guests well being and enjoyment.

  2. We have known this hotel for decades and on the ad it says on a poster: “Timeless Experience”, which is right.
Nothing has changed in 35 years
Rooms are nice and large but really not clean – the carpet so filthy that we removed it ourselves the first evening – mold in some corners of the bathroom
Very noisy renovations next to $ 600 per night premium rooms from early morning (got a 25% discount after protesting)

The owner family are milking this hotel for profits and almost 0 service

The WIFI cut off every few minutes

  3. Great resort. Good service. Staff very nice but not particularly attentive. Great views. Good buffet, family friendly. Everywhere in Israel, this place included, there is loud (often very bad) disco music playing at stunningly high volume levels. It’s like having a bad movie score follow you around. I guess a lot of people like this, but for me it was disturbing- I much prefer hearing the ocean waves rather than have someone who doesn’t share the same musical taste that I do pick what I have to listen to. For me this is more disturbing than creating a “nice” ambience. Several people in our party complained about this- wanting to take a nice walk, and then having music piped through speakers and having to go back to their room. My own experience was finding the bar responsible for the pumping music (where nobody was at the time) and asking if the volume could be turned down. The shocked response was:”you mean you don’t want it louder?!” So I guess people in this place find it relaxing listening to bad disco sounds, however we found it disturbing and intrusive. It’s a pity to be on a gorgeous beach and have to listen to someone else’s music you don’t prefer.

  4. We’ve been going to Israel for over a decade. Now that we’ve stayed at a variety of areas and hotels, I must say Dan Resort was impressive. Spacious rooms, garden, large deck to eat meals with ocean view, lots of space. The beach is literally just down some stairs and I was surprised pool side showers even had warm water. Both a large pool and toddler pools are shaded. Very clean. Our kids loved the free unlimited arcade and daycare (Danny Care). I really appreciated seeing the young lady reading books and doing crafts with my 2 daughters 8 & 4 years old. Food was normal priced for Israel so we ended up eating at the resort most of the time especially kids chicken tenders. However, there are several beach side restaurants to the left and right. Service we received was friendly, helpful and everyone seemed to know English which was so helpful.

  5. My stay at the Dan Acadia hotel was truly a pleasant surprise. Every member of the team, from the reception area and housekeeping staff to the restaurant crew, bartenders, and management, was exceptional.

I’d like to emphasize the outstanding service I received from Daniel at the reception. From the moment I arrived, he was incredibly helpful, providing valuable information about the hotel and the Herzliya area. His patience and kindness were evident throughout my stay. Every person I encountered during my time at the hotel was friendly and accommodating. The housekeeping staff on the second floor were consistently warm and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile.

Kobi, the hotel manager, was accommodating and friendly, always checking in with a smile to ensure our comfort and happiness. His dedication to providing excellent hospitality was evident in every interaction. Lastly-
Roy, the restaurant manager responsible for both the poolside bar and interior Castell hotel restaurant- He consistently went above and beyond, displaying attentiveness and kindness. He made sure the food met our preferences and was always eager to please. Made us feel at home !!

I will highly recommend your hotel to all my friends visiting Herzliya. It truly felt like a resort oasis, and our experience was nothing short of amazing. Many thanks to everyone for the wonderful time. This stay will be a cherished memory, and we hope to return in the future, God willing!!!!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel over a holiday weekend, and I must say, I am extremely satisfied with the choice I made. Despite the hotel being fully booked, the staff’s attitude towards us was consistently polite and individually tailored to our needs. The receptionist, in particular, stood out with their professional demeanor and courteousness.

Our room was spotlessly clean and boasted an amazing view of the sea, even though we were situated on the fifth floor. The balcony proved to be cozy enough for two people, making it the perfect spot for enjoying a romantic drink. The pillows and mattress were delightfully soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.

When it came to dining, the breakfast options were delicious and plentiful, offering a wide variety of choices to suit different tastes. However, what truly set this hotel apart was the quality of its guests. Every person we encountered was friendly and welcoming, and as a result, we had the opportunity to forge new friendships during our stay.

Overall, I would like to extend my gratitude to the hotel staff for providing such a wonderful experience. I am already looking forward to returning in the future. Thank you Eva

I’m conflicted about this hotel. On the one hand most of the staff is nice, breakfast had a vegan section and the pool is great. On the other hand there is near to no parking and the area is only paid parking, the halls were filthy and the room had been sprayed with so much perfume it seemed it was covering up having not been cleaned.

I had a work group ‘pool and spa’ day at Daniel hotel. While the Spa facilities a bit old, the message was great. Pool is well taken care of and fun the hang around. We enjoyed our stay.

It had been years since I had last been to the Daniel Hotel in Herzliya and it was a real disappointment. Didn’t stay in the hotel on this occasion but had a visitors day pass for the pool. The toilets in the pool area were in a disgusting state for a 5* hotel! I mean really really bad. One of the cubicles had faeces all over the wall, toilet seat and floor! I told one of the attendants, but he didn’t seem too bothered about it. I went to use the toilets by the restaurant instead and even those weren’t that presentable. The taps were lose, and no soap in any of the dispensers. Bearing in mind it was only around 11am they should have been full. You get your pool towels from a vending machine, which are really small compared and you can only get one per voucher! The sun beds had also seen better days. It’s such a shame because the pool area has become so run down and has put me off wanting to stay there in the future.

We have been bowled over by the customer service at this beautifully located beachfront hotel. We took 6 rooms for a family celebration. The staff could not do too much to help us. They treated us like their most important guests. Any problem was immediately dealt with and they cheerfully accommodated our allergies, requests and changes. We honestly felt we experienced the most helpful customer service we have come across in Israel. Special thanks to Moshe, Maggie, Meital and Shoshi, Motti on reception, Tomer on security and concierge. They made us feel welcome all week.

The rooms are a good size and most with beautiful views of the beach. The food at breakfast has more than everything you might want.

We also arranged a private Shabbat dinner for 40 people just before our daughters wedding. It exceeded all our expectations and was just perfect. Elan, the head chef, and Maggie on bookings went the extra mile to ensure that it should be an evening just as we wanted it. They made it easy for us and all our guests thought it a most special evening with great food.

The Daniel has been a wonderful experience from beginning to end and I honestly can say that it is the best customer service we have experienced.
