  1. Good service, no more then nice food.
    Also good for vegetarians.
Nice place to seat for coffee .

  2. 2 stars for food. The rest is ok like 4 stars.

That’s depend what are you looking for. If you’re interested in good and tasty food look to different places. But if you are looking for good location and view and also open 24 hour a day that is for you.

  3. Food is expensive but servings are large. Ordered salmon pappardelle, chicken steak and salad with artichoke. Nothing special on the food.
    good ambience and view.

When we visited there is a drunk person from the street who grabbed the glass water bottles from the tables and threw it on the streets. staff are alert to check on us. No English menu

  4. I spent 3 weeks in Bat Yam and at this Gorilla location multiple times. I had shaksuka, cheese toast, salad, Israeli breakfast, and schnitzel.
All of the food was amazing and the service was great—Debbie was very helpful every time I came there, even when she wasn’t my server. I brought several locals there who hadn’t been before and I think they will definitely be back.
The location is perfect with a nice view of the sea and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine.

  5. I was there twice because the food is really good. But the waitresses are very very rude. We were there on Sunday evening. They did not smile at all. Were making rude faces. I had to wait a lot for some water.. And after when we paid including 10% that I did not want to pay she was making disgusting faces again. Hopefully when I come therr next time you will change these rude girls! Disgusting

Cafe Joe (a Greek place) was a great experience starting with the enthusiastic staff, then with the food which arrived in a considerable size with very little wait time. There is a beautiful view of the ocean as the restaurant resides on the beach and the atmosphere like the music was chill and monotone while the bathrooms were well kept. Overall, for the time I was there; it felt like 5/5 stars all around.

This place is right next to the beach and has a beautiful atmosphere, but the service was not the best. I’m not sure if it was just that one day, but it seemed as though there was a lack of communication between the service staff. We waited 20 min to order and then it took 30 min to get our appetizers which came with our meal 🤷🏼‍♀️. The food was amazing though and really enjoyed the croque madame. The large sweet potato fries are a great portion for 2-3 people and the coffee is delicious. I had a mochaccino and loved it. Would come back for a coffee and a pastry maybe but not lunch.

This place is DOOOOOOPE! And in the middle of Bat Yam!?!?!? 🙂

24 hours, including food service and on Sabbath. Neither the kitchen nor the coffee ever close. Very spacious, easygoing, relaxing atmosphere with no crowds. Barista and waitress were seriously friendly, and the Salmon Croquette breakfast I had at 9pm was every bit as good as anything I’ve ever had in my favorite NYC diners (indeed better…because Israeli coffee is way better! 😉 )

This place may well be the best thing about this entire neighborhood and I will definitely come back.

If I had to give a minor critique (a great NYCer and Israeli tradition??), it would be that if they had more laptop plugs near the tables it would be absolutely perfect for getting work done during the day as well. But they do have them – just arguably a slightly limited number if them.

I came in late in the evening with a friend, and had a very good service experience. My friend had dinner and dessert, which he enjoyed very much. I only had coffee, but it was an excellent one! The music was just right, allowing us to talk without raising our voices. Outside was cold and windy, while on the inside they kept a warm atmosphere. All in all, I recommend this place, especially for dessert! Thank you. 🙂

Good place to have a coffee and breakfast overlooking the seaside by Bat Yam. Good coffee and service, and eggs with bagels with hollandaise sauce, 3-4 different types to choose from, really tasty. Also not bad prices and right in front of the Bat Yam sea side promenade.
